Event Name:   World Heart Day 2004

WORLD HEART DAY 2004 was organised at the Nerella Venumadhav Kala Pranganam on 26th September 2004 on the theme-“Children, Adoloscents and Heart Disease”. The meet was attended by the District Collector and Magistrate,Sri.N.Sivasankar and other guests. A free camp for detecting heart disease in children was organised on this occasion. A quiz for High school children on aspects to related to heart was conducted on this occasion and the winners were given prizes contributed by the State Bank of Hyderabad. 96 children were evaluated and 34 students participated in the quiz. Simultaneously, Patient education exhibitions were held at Parkal, Jangaon, arsampet, Eturunagaram and Mahbubabad on this day.
